"Brady"

Barbara, I just wanted to send "Brady's" picture. I was hoping you
would put him on the website.
I always look at it and would love to see him on it. Merry
Christmas to you and your family.

"Sofie"

"Sofie"
is the best first mate in the world!" Owned by Captain Paul.

"Collin" CGC

"Not sure if you remember me, but I bought a beautiful red puppy from
you. You called him "Collin" and I kept his name because he is an
English gentleman. He is proper, loves people, every cat, dog and
animal he has ever met. When I bought him, I had told you that I
intended to have him work as a therapy dog. He has been accredited
with his CGC/AKC and we just finished the evaluation for DELTA SOCIETY.
"Collin" and I are now PET PARTNERS / DELTA SOCIETY. He will start
his job training in Nursing Homes / Assisted Living Facilities /
Hospice, as soon as I receive our final paperwork from Delta Society.
I’ll keep you advised as we progress. Thank you for such a wonderful
animal. He means everything to me, and me to him."

"Missy"

"Just a little note to tell you how much "Missy"
has meant to our family. She has a wonderful personality and she
is a great companion for all of us. The English Cocker has truely won
over my heart and I will never have another type of dog".
Owner - Jackie

"Gracie"

"Just wanted to send you some updates and pictures of our girl
"Gracie"! She is such a joy to have around and has given us hours of
laughter. Thank you for our precious baby! She is doing well and is

PS - She has her summer cut!" Owner - Erika

"Sophie"

"Sophie".....to say "she is the
light of your lives" is putting is mildly. She has added
so much to our family that I cannot thank you enough." Owners -
Kerri and Paul

"Oreo"

"Hello from London! I'm so
sorry that I haven't sent any message to update you about "Oreo".
She is now 5 years old, and successfully made a smooth transition from
NY to London. We lost our other English Cocker Spaniel last spring
(Luke was almost 16), so she is the only dog here, and spoiled.....She
loves to take a long walk to either Holland Park or Kensington
Garden. Sometimes we go to Hyde Park. London is absolutely a dog
heaven. She has met so many friends here!
Please take care." Owner - Hiroko

"Penny & Chubbs"

"Been wanting to send you a picture of the 2 pups we picked up from you
a few years ago (Addie and Richard). Addie is named "Penny" now
and is smart as a whip and very athletic. Richard's name is
"Chubbs".. We tried a few other names for him, but "Chubbs" was the only
one that stuck. He's a bit of a goof, but he is very special :-)
and is a real sweety. They are doing great!! People are always
stopping me when I am out for our daily walks. Sometimes even
running down the street after us. They all want to know where I got the
2 and what kind of doggies they are. Thanks for the great
doggies..!! " Owners - Andrew and Patricia

"Beazie"

"Beazie" won't give up her baby
bed!!...This is 10 pounds of dog in a 5-pound sack! She's almost 8 mos.
old, and full of puppy shenanigans. Nothing but pure joy and I
thnak heaven every single day that we found you so we could find her.
Best Regards, Suzy.

"Riley"

"Carl and I want to thank you again
for "Riley"!! Here she is at 1 year, supervising her backyard. She is
truly a very special puppy and has added a whole new dimension to our
lives. She loves to be around people and meets and greets all her
friends and neighbors on her daily walks. "Riley" travels everywhere
with us and especially enjoys trips to Grandma's house in Galena, IL.
We are truly blessed!" Owners - Carl and Cindy

"Lucy"
(Ch. Daisymead's Loverboy ex
Daisymead's Jump for Joy)

"Lucy"
is our beloved 11 year old English Cocker Spaniel. She is accomplished
at many things, but her foremost duty is to provide Mom and Dad
companionship and amuse them with her wonderful personality. "Lucy"
spends most of her day napping, but when she is on patrol we have no
better friend or security officer. Our lives have been enhanced
immeasurably by this wonderful little dog and we can't wait to get her a
sister." (Owners, Eric and Shelley)

"Atom"
(Ch. Daisymead's Born In the USA,
ECM son)
"We just wanted to drop you a line
to tell you that Atom is doing great and we love him dearly! He is
exactly as you described him - very gentle and loving. He enjoys his
walks and exploring the world with his nose as his guide. The following
photos show some of the adventures that we've had with him so far. Hope
you enjoy.
Thank you for allowing us to adopt such a beautiful dog." (Owners
Jen and Vin)

"Daisy"
(Ch. Daisymead's On The Mark
daughter)
"Daisy" is just perfect. Since day
one, we have never heard a sound from her when it comes to bedtime.
She is quite happy to settle in her sleeping box/pen. We have had a
minimum of 'accidents' indoors and most mornings her papers are dry and
clean - how's that for a pup?! She also has a 'doggy' bean bag upstairs
in the living area for those 'afternoon naps'"!
"Her walks start at 6 a.m. Daisy eats
twice daily, but never rushes at her food - only occasionally does she
have a boiled egg which has to be cleared off the plate instantly!
She had her first visit to the vet's last Friday, and he was extremely
impressed with her. Daisy will have her first stay in kennels mid
June and I've found a superb place where I know she will be well looked
after. Daisy has completed our lives." (Owners:
Yvonne and Dennis)

"Bookbinder"

"I
took this quick shot on the deck today and
thought I'd email it to you
to say thanks again for "Bookbinder". Some say he's pampered but,
who
cares? The mobile groomer comes to the house every week when she isn't
flying off to groom the dogs and cats of celebrity folks. Hope all is
well in Barrington.".......John

"Milo" and "Ollie"

"Indi"

"Hi Barbara! You
may not remember me but, I bought a puppy from you over 9 years ago. I
called several years ago, because he was throwing up and wouldn't eat.
After 6 weeks of dozens of trips to the vet, every test imaginable and
much worry for our family, they finally took "Indi" in for surgery and
discovered that he'd eaten a clear plastic deli bag that had some turkey
in it. It wasn't showing up on any of the X-rays because it was clear.
The vet told me that "Indi" had such a will to live....poor little guy
went through sooooo much before they finally figured out what was wrong
with him, and he'd lost an incredible amount of weight. Well,
here he is years later, at age 9, and still acting like a puppy. He's
been such a wonderful dog....incredibly smart and loyal. "
"One of my favorite stories about "Indi" has to do with our pool. He acts
as the lifeguard anytime anyone, especially any of the kids, is in the
pool. If a head goes under water, he barks like crazy. It can be
annoying, but we all know that he feels it's his duty to inform us of
anyone going under water. One day, my friend's daughter, 8 years old,
was flailing around in the deep end of the pool. She had a vest on, was
just playing, but "Indi" didn't realize that. He jumped into the pool
(he loves to swim), swam over to one of the floating "noodle" toys,
positioned it under his chin, then swam across the pool pushing the
noodle in front of him until he got to the little girl. He then
released the noodle and pushed it to her with his nose. Had she really
been in trouble, he would have saved her. We were all incredibly
impressed....what a smart thing for a dog to do. I'm still not sure how
he ever realized that the noodles float and would be a help."
"Just thought I'd say "thanks" on this holiday of Thanksgiving and
forward on this picture of "Indi" in the back yard. He's brought us all
so much joy over the years. Hope all is well with you. The puppies on
your site look adorable. Take care, and thanks again." Owner -

"Harry"
(Sire: Ch. Daisymead's Born
In The USA, ECM)

"I thought you might get a kick out
of seeing this. I entered Harry in the Veterans Sweeps at Middleburg a
couple of weeks ago. It was the first time in the ring for both of us.
Harry did better than I did. He was the only entrant, but we had fun
(despite the rain). Not too bad for a 10 year old." Owner:
Alan

"Charlie"

"We just wanted to send
you a updated picture of our Charlie. He was 2 this
past January, and we are so happy with him as part of our family. He
brings a
lot of joy and love to us. He is such a happy and loving dog. Everyone
that he sees just loves him. He is also a very good traveler and loves
going in the car with us."

Daisymead Love In Blue
"Holly Berry"

"Here are pictures of "Holly Berry" at
home and at the local Farmers' Market. She is much loved and very
happy. When
our "Max" is no longer with us, we will be looking to add another
Daisymead English Cocker to our family to join her."
