"I wanted to send you a
picture and let you know how well "Forrest" is doing. I gave "Forrest" to
my husband, Mark, for his 50th birthday as a surprise. He just adores
him and turning 50 doesn't seem like such a bad thing anymore. Our
favorite thing to do is to visit the local forest preserves and hike.
"Forrest" just loves it. In fact, he loves everything! It seems
like his main purpose in life is to make us happy. His little
tail is always wagging and he will do anything just to please us. He
has been just a real joy and we feel fortunate to get such a good little
puppy. Thanks for all you did, (keeping him until the surprise
party), etc. We were also wondering if you know of any other English
Cocker Spaniels in the Oswego area? Do you know if "Forrest" has any
brothers or sisters in the area? We have yet to see one other English
Cocker Spaniel anywhere we go. Thanks again!" (Owner: Cindy and
Mark)
"Here are a few pictures of "Lucy". She’s really doing well, seems
very happy, and she and "Roscoe" are getting along better each day.
"Roscoe" wasn’t so pleased at first but, now wags his tail when she
comes in the room to pounce on him. He’s being very patient with her.
She got a clean bill of health from our vet this past Tuesday."

Apparently he was a rescue from California, so "Lawry" lives near a distant relative. They have become great pals! Thanks again for such a wonderful companion and friend! We love him to pieces!" Daisymead's K.C. Royals Rookie "K.C." ![]() y side and helped me through some very trying times "K.C." was given his name by my
son who was an avid baseball fan. In his early years, we did some
obedience and agility, though we never went for any titles. He was
always by my side and helped me through some very trying times with his
love and devotion. He loved to "croon" and his favorite song was
"On Top of Old Smokey". He only had to hear the first two notes
and he would start belting out at the top of his lungs. He only
stopped when you told him how good he was. Funny, no other song
made him do that. " (Owner: Emily) |

We drove to Phoenix for
Christmas 2006, to visit Jeff's family, and brought "Tory" and
"Kinsey" with us. Jeff's mom has an English Cocker named
"Libby" and her lineage goes back to someone I believe know,
Lesley Andrews. She's an orange roan and I believe she is
9 yrs. old. The girls are great, and are soon going to
welcome a new addition to our family. I am due March 12th,
with a baby boy! It will be interesting to see how the girls
react. They've already gotten to sniff out all the baby stuff
and "Kinsey" thought the changing pad was nice and comfy.
She curled up in it to take a nap!! Hope all is well with you!

"Oliver Barrington Pollnow"
"I
wanted to send you an update on our pride and joy….Oliver Barrington
Pollnow, or “Ollie” as we call him. We named him for the two places he
has lived, our home in Olivette and his first home in Barrington. He is
a little over 15 months now, but it was about this time last year that
we first contacted you about adding to our family for Christmas. Ollie
is the most adorable, snuggly, soft and well-mannered puppy. From day one,
he has been very inquisitive but, always a good listener. His
endless energy and excitement keep us smiling everyday…especially when
he still does flips as he realizes it's time to eat again! He has the
most perfect “sit” and since he was a baby, has often simply watched us
move around the kitchen or den, as if he is constantly learning. He
is such a loveable dog. Always wanting to sit in our laps, play tug
or be right next to us. He loves playing with other dogs and is very
sociable, constantly running and jumping and tumbling around our yard
with our neighbor’s dog. We frequently get compliments on how
beautiful and well behaved he is. Thank you for sending him our
way….we are hoping to add a little red girl to our family soon, and
would love to hear about the puppies you have and will have available.
Happy Holidays!" (Owners: Kara and David Pollnow) |
