"Wrigley"

"Here is a picture of "Wrigley".  She is a gorgeous animal and we all love her.  She loves to cuddle and can never get quite close enough.  She enjoys her twice a day walks to the park where she runs off lead through the woods.  She is not one to miss a meal and starts telling me about an hour before dinner that I should be doing something about that.   Thanks for letting us love "Wrigley."

Daisymead Arthur's Black Morgan
"Morgan"
(BIS/BIS Ch. Daisymead's Playboy, ECM x Daisymead's Lisette Amour)

"I just wanted to drop you quick note to say hello!  "Morgan" is sitting here beside me snoring up a storm (you have to love that about these English).  I was checking my emails and realized I haven't kept in touch as I should.  The year 2007, was a great one.   My daughter, Kaitlyn (she's almost 3 now), started preschool this year and absolutely loves it.  They've started having show and tell on Thursday mornings, and it's based the letter or subject of the week and this week we're going to try and take Morgan (D for dog) if Ms. Britany will let us."

"Morgan" or "WooWoo" as Kaitlyn calls him, has started acting just like "Victor"!  As much as he looks like "Ferghus" and "Arthur", I expected him to act like those 2 sweet boys.  "Victor" has turned into such an old gentleman though, but when he's ready for a meal (as I'm sure Mom & Dad have told you) he's ready.  "Morgan" stares me down starting 30 minutes before meal time, he's too funny.  Kaitlyn is big enough now that she can help with feeding time and has the best time doing it!  "Morgan" always gets a Kaitlyn sized handful of food while I'm getting everything ready.  Anyway, I just wanted to let you my sweet "Morgan" is doing really well and is loved more and more everyday.  Thank you so much for taking care of this wonderful breed and allowing families like mine to have them in their lives."    Owner - Laine

"Gizmo"
(Sire:  BIS/BISS Ch. Daisymead's Playboy, ECM)

"I bought a male English Cocker from you four years ago.  He was sired by Playboy.  He is absolutely the friendliest, most personable dog I have ever owned.  His registered name is Playboy's Little Blue Gizmo ("Gizmo" for short).  I purchased "Gizmo" as a 'transition' dog for my family, as my American Cocker, "Canter", was 15 years old and was not expected to live much longer.  After "Gizmo" arrived, "Canter" seemed to perk-up and ended up living another two years."  Owner - Myles

"Tobie"

"Hello,  my name is Michelle.  I live in Japan, with my husband Mark and our four children-Samantha 13,  Jacob 12, Marcia 10 and Abigail 7.    We got our beautiful English Cocker Spaniel puppy here in  Japan, a few years ago.  Her name is Ambrosia of Dog Stadium, but we call her "Tobie".   We recently had her bred and her first litter of pups is due in the 3rd week of November.

When we were looking for a possible male EC,  we discovered that "Tobie" has one of your ECs in here lines.   I think her grandsire was BIS Ch. Daisymead's Birth of  the Blues.   We looked you up and have had so much fun viewing your website.   Our dog became even more special when we realized she came from your kennel in the USA.   She is black and white and very  pretty,  she's very obedient and is great with our kids and friends, too.

She was bred to an Australian champion here in Japan.  We are looking forward to seeing her puppies soon.  We have been in Japan a long time now, doing all kinds of work with Christian International Asia.   Japanese people just love animals,  especially dogs.  Well,  I just wanted to write and say THANK YOU for breeding such lovely animals.  We have enjoyed our "Tobie" very much.  God bless you."  Owner - Michelle

"Winston"

"We finally got some great shots of "Winston" and wanted to share them with you.  He has been a delight!!!!!!!  Mike and I and both of our other dogs really love him.  He is still a first class face licker and is incredibly loveable.   "Winston" is, by far, our smartest dog and that means he's also been our biggest challenge.  We have to find activities to keep his mind working.

His favorite things are his big sister, Stevie (1/2 Lab, 1/2 Golden), and loves outdoor activities like swimming and exploring the woods at our cabin.  We hope to get him involved in Flyball this winter as he is incredibly fast.   Christy won second place with him in her first grooming competition last February."

Daisymead's Fly Boy
(A Ch. Daisymead's King's Ransom son)

"Rudy"

"Rudy" came to live with us when he was 7 months old. We were very lucky to find such a pretty and personable little guy.  He loves to play catch and go for rides in his travel crate in the car.  He's a little too fascinated by our fish pond.  He's fallen in three times...more if you count the times he only got one or two feet wet. We're trying to convince him that it is more fun to swim in the grandkids' little pool, but there are no fish to catch in it.  "Rudy" loves to sleep on my feet or snuggle in my lap when he's not outside running wildly through the yard and flower garden.  We have never had a puppy who could jump as high or as far as "Rudy".  The other photo is  "Rudy's" first beach experience.  Can you imagine that he knew just what to do?! It's a good thing we had a leash or he would probably still be chasing around in the water.  We could have charged for chances to pet him as folks were pretty taken with him.  We'll be here for a month so he will have plenty of opportunities.  He was really good on the 2.5 day drive down here to Bonita Springs, FL, but was ready to have it over as were Dick and I."  Owner - Sharon

"Cody and Shorty"

"Cody Augustus Red" (left) was born July, 1994.   From 1995 until 2001, he worked as a therapy dog with me.  He especially enjoyed working with children and teenagers, although some of his most effective work was done with adults with chronic mental illness.  He is currently top dog in the household.

"Shorty McGill" (right) was born June of 2003. He has completed Puppy Class and Obedience I. He is making good progress through Obedience II.  His ambition is to attain his Canine Good Citizen title and to utilize his athletic skills in Agility."   Owner - Ida

"Molly"

"I just wanted to forward a photo of our little "Molly" over the holidays.  She has been an absolute joy and I will certainly want another Daisymead dog in the future. Having been raised with Cocker Spaniels, I've always loved them.  I found it hard to find such a wonderful temperament, like the ones I had as a child, until I found yours.  "Molly" is always following me and is so attentive. She gets along with other dogs as well. She did have one crazy moment over the holidays - we caught her opening her own gifts with a bit of a big belly!  Luckily we found her in time."  Owner -  Liesbeth

"Vinny"
Tomar's Bryson Ridge VIP
(CH Daisymead Peace of My Heart ex Tomar's Once Upon A Time)

"Vinny will be 10 years old in July of 2004.  He is pictured celebrating his 9th birthday.  He's still as active as he was as a youngster, running at full speed across the deck and taking a flying leap into the backyard, and jumping on and off our bed or his favorite chair.   His best canine buddy is our Golden, "Chipper", who is 8.    Throughout "Vinny's" life he's made friends wherever he goes:  the vet's office, at our son's schools and baseball games, the office where I work and the neighborhood McDonalds (the staff asks, "Where's Vinny?" if he's not in the car when my husband drives thru for his breakfast biscuit) .  "Vinny's" grandmother is 17+ years old and we hope he has inherited her longevity gene!  We are very grateful to his breeder, Marlene and Tom Anton, and to the owner of his sire, for making it possible for us to have this very special boy."  Owner - Lynda

Daisymead's Dear Abby
(BIS/BISS CH Daisymead's Playboy, ECM x Daisymead's Black Beauty)

"Abby"

"Abby just came back from her spa day at the groomers with her summer camp cut (photo not available).  It has really gotten hot for this time of year, so I am guessing we are in for a really hot summer.  I'm hoping that Abby will take to the pool and stay in a little more this summer.  As long as there are treats for her when she gets out, and her towel is laid out so she can dry off she is all for a "quick" dip.

She is still my lovable Abby and we both love her dearly,  I know people must tell you all the time that they couldn't image their family without their dog, but it is so true when you have such a loveable, dedicated and beautiful companion.  Abby is also very smart, my husband keeps telling me that she is a lot smarter than his two previous English Cockers.  We both talk to her and she understands everything we say, people are amazed when we give her instructions and she does it without blinking an eye.  I guess I am a proud mama and I love my Abby!  You must be even prouder."  Owners - Caroline & Marvin

"Huxley"

"Our black/tan boy turned a year old a few weeks ago and we just wanted to tell you how much we have enjoyed him.  As you can see in the picture, he has a sister and they play continuously!  He has the most  luscious hair we have ever seen on a dog or human.  He just got his summer cut, but he is still gorgeous.  He has turned out to have one of the most pleasant personalities.  He has one emotion ---Happy! Thanks again for such a wonderful addition to our family.  Take care."   Owners -  Jennie & Jeff

"Murphy, CGC"
(BIS/BISS CH Daisymead's Playboy, ECM  ex Daisymead's Black Beauty)

"Murphy" is now 2 yrs. old.  He recently participated in his 1st "Fun Run" where he was absolutely  magnificent!  He even heeled OFF leash!!!  He then passed his Canine Good Citizenship test.  We were so proud.  We tried to go for his Delta Society Certification (to be a Therapy Dog), but he was a bit nervous around adults and will need to go back  for a re-try.  He loves children and visits with many of them most days when we go to school to pick up our children.  He is my shadow and is laying in my lap as I type to you.  He is a treasure and a welcomed addition to our family.  Here is a photo of "Murphy" on Halloween 2006.  He doesn't mind dressing up for the kids.  He is a sweet dog.  We love him.
 Thanks again."   Owner - Margie
