"Rusty"
( Daisymead's Lion King ex
Daisymead's Fit for a Queen)
"Rusty" is 19 months old now and stole our hearts from the moment we got
him. He has a brother, "Tiger" the cat, and they love to play ‘Chase
and Tag, You're It’, around the house.
My husband takes "Rusty" for a 2.5 mile walk every morning; rain, shine
and even when it is snowing. He doesn’t care what the weather is like
as long as he gets to go for a walk. When we walk him we are constantly
stopped by people who tell us what a beautiful dog he is. When he
returns from his walk he then gets to go for a car ride while I take my
daughter to school. "Rusty" loves to spend every moment with us,
whether it is watching TV, riding in the car, taking long walks, or just
laying near us. Boy, can he snore! He
amazes us with his ability to understand what we are saying. He tilts
his head from side to side whenever we talk to him or ask him a
question…he’s so cute."
"Well, I just wanted to
THANK YOU for breeding such lovely dogs. We love "Rusty" very much.
God bless you." Owners: Dianne and Greg
"Teddy"
(Sire: Daisymead's Lion King)
"My daughter snapped this
classic photo of "Teddy" on our patio a few weeks ago. I thought
you might enjoy seeing what a beautiful boy he has become! He'd
been out and about on a canyon hike earlier in the day, so he's not so
"groomed" as usual in the pix, but nonetheless, he's a heartbreaker and
a family favorite." Owner - Terri

"Spencer"
(Daisymead's Lion King ex
Daisymead's Minnie Mouse)
"Spencer" has had a year of titles for 2008. He got pretty much every
novice agility title for all the types we did. For AKC he earned Novice
Standard (NA), Novice Jumpers (NAJ), and Novice FAST (NF) which is the
AKC version of gamblers. For USDAA he got the Agility Dog title
(AD) which requires 3 standard runs, 1 gamblers, 1 jumpers, 1 pairs, and
1 snooker run. For NADAC he earned the Novice Standard (NAC), Novice
Gamblers (NGC), and Novice Jumpers (NJC) titles. For CPE he got
thru level 3 which requires 6 standard runs and 3 runs in each of their
games; snooker, jumpers, colors, wildcard, fullhouse, and jackpot (CPE
version of gamblers)."
"Spencer" truly enjoys his agility but, did also manage to do a
little obedience and earned his UKC CD. He has 2 legs toward AKC's CD
and RN titles. Those titles will hopefully be completed in February
'09. I don't know if the English Cocker Club will have obedience at
the July specialty in Ventura, or if we will be ready for open obedience
even if they do. "Spencer" likes retrieving and we will be training.
Just have to see how it goes." Owner: Clydine
"Gracie"
"Just wanted to send you an update on our little girl we named "Gracie".
She is doing well here in NJ, and has settled in with her big sister,
our Golden Retriever. The two love to run back and forth in our yard
and wrestle in our living room. The two greet each other with kisses
when they see each other in the morning. "Gracie" is doing well
with her house breaking. She is learning to signal at the door when she
needs to go. She still has her accidents but, they are becoming less
and less. Her favorite spot is our couch, snuggling with either me, my
husband, or any other human. My family adores her and comes to visit her
often. Thanks again for Gracie! She is a very sweet,
affectionate, and active little girl." Owner: Erika
Here are a couple of photos of "Annie" playing in the St. Vrain
river. This is what we do every evening after dinner. The
dogs depend on being able to go play in the creek and run around the park in
the grass. "Annie" loves to play with socks, also. She will
carry our socks around the house with her. She doesn't chew them or
damage them in any way, but she always wants a sock to carry around in the
evening. Is that something she did with you? She also has gotten
very camera shy. I call her my little Native American. She's
afraid I'm going to capture her soul. Other than those two things,
"Annie" has turned out to be the most charming, funny, sweet, intelligent
dog that we have ever had. She is just a treat to have in our
household. She loves the kitties. Also, "Kit" and "Annie" have
become very BEST friends. Thanks so much for thinking we would be a
good fit as a family." Owner: Mimi
"Smooch"
(Ch. Daisymead's King's Ransom ex
Daisymead's Kiss In The Dark)
"Smooch" has recently become somewhat of a celebrity in our small town.
In addition to being in a video on our veterinarians website and a print
ad for our vet in a local society magazine, our local newspaper recently
profiled my children and "Smooch" in a story during pet health awareness
week...the attached photo of the 3 of them was on the front page. We've
become so attached to "Smooch" that we can't imagine life without him.
He has brought such joy to our home." (Owners: The Weaver
family)
Daisymead's Jack of Hearts
(Daisymead's Lion King son)
"Here is "Jack" at Halloween. He
is a very beautiful and
loving dog. "Jack" is very friendly and out-going. He loves
his walks and sits before every road crossing until he has permission
to cross." Owner - Angela
Lackner's Blues Brother
"Jake"
( Daisymead's Playing to Win ex Daisymead's Play It Again Sam)
Jake has just turned a year old and
he's such a sweetheart." (Owner: Linda)
"Baxter"
"Baxter is keeping us quite busy! Needless to say, we love him! His
feline siblings are still adjusting, but overall glad to have him here,
too. He finished puppy school in March, and had his first haircut
(although we left his cute alfalfa sprout). This picture was taken 1
month ago after his haircut. He continues to grow, but will always be
our baby."

"Charlie"
(BIS/BISS CH Daisymead's Playboy, ECM ex Daisymead's Miss Annie Blue)
He is absolutely THE BEST!!! A wonderful nature, always happy and wanting to please, and
always so much fun! He is very smart and learns things quickly. In this
photo, I caught him on the couch with his head atop 2 pillows (he always
finds the most comfortable spot!). We just love him so much and
can’t imagine life without him." (Owner: Janet)
